collector's guide
Each artwork is available as a strictly limited edition in a small number of sizes. The edition structure is intentional: as the format increases, the edition size decreases.
Smaller formats are available in larger editions, offering an accessible entry point into the collection. Larger formats are more severely limited, reflecting both the physical impact of the work and a commitment to preserving genuine rarity at the upper end of the collection.
Edition Structure
Thank you for your interest in collecting the work. This guide has been written to help you understand what you are buying, how it is made, and what it means to own a piece from this collection.
Museum-Grade Printing
Every print in this collection is produced using archival giclée printing — the method used by leading museums and galleries worldwide to reproduce fine art to the highest possible standard.
Inks are pigment-based, chosen for their exceptional colour fidelity and long-term stability. They are applied to Hahnemühle German Etching paper — a paper with centuries of fine-art use behind it, and one of the most stable substrates available for archival printing. Its surface responds to light with a depth and warmth that digital screens cannot replicate.
The result is a print produced on materials that are designed to last generations. Pigment inks are independently rated to over 100 years of colour stability under standard archival conditions — this is as far as accelerated testing can currently project, and is likely considerably longer.
The Artist's Signature
Every limited edition print is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity confirming:
The title of the artwork
The edition number and total edition size
The artist's reproduced signature
Print specifications and paper details
Personal Delivery Service
Selected large format limited edition prints are available with a personal delivery service by arrangement. Under this service, the print is dispatched to Zanda's studio rather than directly to the buyer. Zanda hand-signs and numbers both the print in the margin and the certificate of authenticity before dispatching personally.
Personal delivery prints carry the same edition numbers as standard editions. Within a single edition, some copies may be standard delivery with a reproduced signature, and some may be personal delivery with a hand-applied one. Both are equally valid members of the edition; the personal delivery copies are distinguished by the hand-signing.
Framing
Selected sizes are available framed or unframed. Framed prints are presented in a black wooden frame with a crème mountboard, using archival materials throughout — chosen to complement the work without competing with it. A4 frames are glazed with glass; all larger frames use protective acrylic.
Caring for Your Print
Fine art prints are designed to last generations when given a little care:
A Note on Value
Limited edition prints often appreciate in value as editions sell out and the artist's profile develops. Larger formats with smaller edition sizes have historically shown the strongest long-term performance, as the combination of physical scale and genuine rarity creates lasting demand.
Avoid direct sunlight. UV light is the primary cause of fading. Position your print away from windows where direct sun falls, or use UV-protective glazing.
Avoid moisture and humidity. Bathrooms and kitchens are not ideal environments for fine art paper.
Maintain a stable temperature. Avoid hanging prints near radiators, fireplaces, or air conditioning units where temperatures fluctuate.
Hahnemühle German Etching paper is among the most stable fine-art papers available — chosen by museums and collectors precisely because it is built to endure. With basic care, these prints are made to be passed down.
Collecting art is, at its heart, a personal act. The value of a work begins with what it does to you when you look at it. Everything else follows from that.
Printing is handled exclusively by theprintspace, an internationally respected fine-art print studio with facilities in London, New York, and Düsseldorf. Every print that leaves their studio has been produced to the same exacting standards.
Once an edition sells out, it is retired permanently. No additional prints of that size will ever be produced. This is not a commercial convention — it is a commitment to the integrity of the work and to every collector who has acquired a piece.
Collectors who acquire works early in an edition benefit from the best availability. Pricing may be reviewed as editions progress.
Date of production
This certificate establishes the provenance of your print and is an important document for insurance purposes, future resale, and the long-term record of the work. Keep it with your print, or store it separately in a safe place.
On framed works, the signature and edition number are located on the print beneath the window mountboard and are not visible when the work is displayed. The certificate confirms the print, and should be retained as the primary record of authenticity.
Only one valid certificate of authenticity exists per edition number. Any print not accompanied by a valid certificate carries no authenticated provenance and cannot be represented or resold as a certified edition print.
The personal delivery service is available at a premium of £95 in addition to the standard print price, with actual international shipping costs confirmed at the time of arrangement. To enquire, contact us at admin@zanda.space.
Larger formats are offered unframed, partly due to shipping considerations and partly because works of this scale often benefit from being framed to the collector's own specification. If you would like guidance on framing a larger print, feel free to get in touch.
Frame with archival materials. If framing yourself, use acid-free mountboard and backing, and UV-protective glass or acrylic. This protects the paper over time and prevents yellowing.
Certificate of Authenticity
Each print bears Zanda's signature, reproduced in the margin from the original. For collectors seeking a personally hand-signed work, selected large format limited edition prints are available through the personal delivery service — see below.
